Our Amazing God Answers Prayer
Thank you Jesus. Nellie went to the orphanage today, and told me as she was leaving, that Anya held on tight and did not want her to leave. This has become increasingly hard on our Anya. The Lord continues to form a solid bond between us and Anya and Samuel.
Today, Jeanne Ritzman dropped by with a care package (thanks Ritzmans - more on that in a moment). I've been concerned about our pressing need for our court date. Occasionally I will let Anya know some things, like court is soon, and Minnesota is soon. I never really think she understands what I'm saying. Then Nellie tells me she found out that Anya asks Igor every day if court will be coming soon. I praise the Lord for his perfect plan. Anya doesn't understand what I'm saying in English, and yet she in her native tongue is just as hopeful for a quick court date as we are. We have not coached her to do this...its all her and the Lord. God is answering prayer, because we have asked him to guide Igor and Victor in all of this. There is more to this story I cannot share. Maybe later. But I see the hand of God in Anya's actions.
Anya and Samuel are perfect fits for us. Yes, we know there will be difficult times. When these happen, though, I try hard to think about it from their point of view. I feel the Lord has revealed to me that Anya giving her trust to us is a real act of faith on her part. God will fill her need through us, I really believe, because she is walking by faith. I see in Anya a girl that has really put her heart and her trust on the line. It really seems to me like Anya and Samuel have always been with us, as if they have been a part of our family all of their life. I know it is good to acknowledge they have a biological Mama and Papa, and we won't hide any of this from them. But God had a plan all along. I know we are supposed to adopt them, so we continue along until the Lord causes it to happen.
Jeanne also brought six boxes of Mac N Cheese, and to my great joy, a huge, Costco sized jar of Skippy Peanut Butter. Hallelujiah!!!!!
This is one of the three lone jars of peanut butter in all of Kiev right now. The Dillners have one, and I think Jeanne will still have one. I've looked at all the stores. This golden stuff above, just isn't here. I already had a sandwich. Feeling better....feeling better. Ahhhhhh.
ConMan Update - I used the 12x zoon on the camera yesterday, and got a photo of the storefront where the scam is running out of. I'll post it when the kids and I leave the country.

We are sorry for your delays. The photos of your beautiful children capture their hope. Exodus 14:13-15 Bless you, Denise Alzen
