Court Date Coming Soon and Dominoes Pizza in Kiev

Heard from Victor via Igor that he was able to obtain the signed recommendation from the SDA today, and contacted the judge's assistant.  Monday and Tuesday are national holidays in Ukraine, so Victor will meet with the Judge next Wednesday to set a court date.  This is good news because it is progress.  The waiting may soon be over.  We expect we will learn when our court date will be on May 4th.  After court, Nellie and I have to go to the US embassy for some paperwork.  Nellie will likely return on the day we got to the embassy or the next day.  We are flying Lufthansa, which is very good, because there is no layover on the way back to the USA.  Direct flights with just a few hour layovers.

Our Coleman air mattress made it exactly four weeks of use.  It was "guaranteed" to not lose air.  It lost air, and now won't hold it.  Dang, that thing was comfortable.

Today, we went to the orphanage for about 8 hours.  Jason Ritzman was in the mood to wrestle, so we did.  I can see his excitement level at Jeanne's return.  You can see the joy in his eyes.  What a great matchmaker God is., putting the Ritzmans and Jason together. Wonderful news, also.  Jeanne is bringing peanut butter and Mac n Cheese to Urkaine for us.  Yea!!

I was greatly distressed to see poor Rustam getting picked on by other kids.  He is a very nice boy.  I saw another boy plow him over while they were playing with Jessie, and I just yelled at the kid.  I put my arm around his shoulder, and told him it will get better, that Jeff and Rebecca love him very much.

I'm definitely seeing that some of the children in the orphanage have boundary issues.  They will grab your butt, and think it is the funniest thing.  I tell them, "Nyet!!", and they laugh.  I told their overseers about one boy who went much further than this.  It makes you wonder what these kids have been through.

Nellie said Anya did her homework today very well.  I spent some quality time with Artium.  I noticed
he is skin and bones.  But it is fun to follow him around.  He will motion for me to follow him, so I'm following this very little guy all over the place, and I tower over him.

I found Dominoes Pizza in Kiev.   Now the Pizza here is, well atrocious.  Zach and I took the blue line two stops north of Maidan.  Our normal stop now is no longer Maidan, but one stop north of it (name escapes me).  You can get off the Metro, and then take the Funicular up the hill, within two block of our apartment.  Really nice.  I'm sick of walking up the hill from Maidan.  The Dominoes, was, well it was Dominoes quality.  Which means best pizza in Ukraine, but still worst in the USA.  But I'm glad we found it.
